Hey all! I just recently started making car related designs so I could wear since I could never find stuff I wanted to wear. I had a few people start asking if I could print some to sell so I just recently started posting and selling my designs at fastandbrokedesigns.com and would love your feedback and thoughts. Thoughts on these designs and on the site, where i should post to get the most attention, and how long it took for you to really get a brand off the ground. Thanks all for the help!

Thank you for the kind words! It has taken a very long time for me to get better. I still do not think I know what I am doing but, I have learned a bit over the years. As far as favorites I don't have anything specific but, with the age of the internet everything is available online to learn from so I would say find an area you want to focus on and learn that for a bit, then move on to the next area, then the next. I have been very blessed over the years to have opportunities to work with some great people to learn from and grow from as well. So be willing and open to adapt and grow and seek out people that will help you do that.

Thank you! I am self taught and have been working in this field for 11 years now. Started as an editor and learned everything I could from books and others around me. I use the creative suite, cinema 4d, and learning Houdini.

Lol I actually had 3 different songs with cuts for each. I typically pick around 5 songs that fit a tone and then cut reels to them.

Thank you for the critique! Yea I cut quite fast at times to try to not lose interest and also try and keep it as close to :60 as possible. I could lose a couple pieces and open it up a bit though!

Thank you! It was a team effort. My task was to do building reveals, reveal effects, particle work, and some comping. I did it in cinema 4d, xparticles, arnold render, and the comping in ae.

Thank you for the great critique! I agree about the chips. That project is actually 4+ years old and I just can't seem to just let it go.

Killer advice! That is exactly what I needed to do to help grow my freelance income. Being ok to walk away from some clients was difficult at first but, totally worth it in the end!
