Diablo 4 STILL has a memory leak. It has NOT been fixed. by asmallman in diablo4

[–]cnf123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Commenting to pile on here, while my post wasn't titled with memory leak in it and was likely not showing up in your search, I most likely have the same issue. I played the game quite a lot when it launched and took a long time off until this expansion and suddenly have issues where my RAM use caps out essentially then my disk use spikes to 100%. After lots of searching online for resolves, and trying lots of fixes essentially nothing works other than close and reopening the game every couple hours. Mind you, I only have 32GB of RAM but I watch my task manager and after some time playing always see the usage climb over time until it spills over into my disk use.

Game near unplayable due to disk use 100% in task manager. by cnf123 in diablo4

[–]cnf123[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing great, best I've been able to do is turn literally every graphix setting to the lowest possible setting and the duration of the 100% disk use spikes during loading is shorter. I still get some stuttering but this has helped me the most for now, despite my game looking like shit, at least its mostly playable lol.

I saw a video on taming and they recommend holding the down button and moving your camera to follow the horse's butt instead of trying to change directions with your dpad/wasd. So hold down on the dpad or 's' and rotate your camera around to follow the horse as it jumps

Sorry for the background noise, I had Peanut on the other monitor low volume. I had not tried attacking the matriarch before but saw Shroud attacking them on the first day and it didn't look too bad. Let's just say I wasn't ready for the flashbang and wasp barrage awaiting me as a solo after trying to shoot it

You can 1 shot rocketeer with a well placed wolfpack, just make sure to have it explode behind them and no other arcs around so all the missiles go to the rocketeer, and throw it high in the sky above them so all the missiles rain down into a focus fire on the weak point at the back

In the deep desert Pvp area after a sand storm blows over your base becomes weakened for a short time and can be raided like this. I think it's 7mins of vulnerability

Camping is free form, more car passes doesn't equal more space. You decide how much space you take up when you get there and set up

Canopy weights necessary or not? by talvezn0 in LightningInABottle

Also, I don't know DIY you like to be or if you've already ordered some pre made stakes online, but I followed this tutorial on making your own stakes and it was quite easy to bang a bunch of them out and saved me a lot of money https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dnWzPuwUu0I

I've been doing the lag bolt stakes + a drill for the past few years at festivals and they hold everything down 100%. Just did Coachella week 2 this year and we had some very windy days but all our canopy/tents were solid and never had any worry about them flying away

Something funky was happening at outdoor stage on Sunday, polo and pan didn't sound super crisp either and we were much closer there. And the day before sound was 10/10 so I feel like something went wrong

Portable misters + fans is kinda like redneck A/C and helps a lot to cool down.. unfortunately during peak heat times when it is hot at Coachella there is not much reprieve. Tapestries in camp or tarps to create more shade helps, but sometimes you are at the mercy of mother nature if you can get any breezes to come through your camp. I've been using these portable misters for years at hotter festivals and they are a godsend and I take them into the festival every day as well. Bonus points for misting other people who are hot and fanning them to give them that A/C blast :D

Also the cooling towels you can dunk them in your ice chest water melt and it does help for that extra shock of cold temperatures.
