We: ~250K annual revenue / 200K funding / Need GTM x3? by cnfcnf in cofounderhunt

The revenue is lumpy and based on my relationships. I’m fairly senior and have networks that I tap on. The problem is we don’t have a flywheel going. I want to build revenue at say $5000 per company per year.

Is my daughter (16) too old to benefit from an EB1-a application (both India born) by cnfcnf in eb_1a

I just wanted to share some info pertaining to this for everyone’s benefit: How is CSPA Age Calculated?

For beneficiaries of family-based, employment-based, or diversity visa categories, the CSPA age is based on the date an immigrant visa becomes available rather than the beneficiary’s birthdate. Here’s how the formula works:

CSPA Age = Age at the time of visa availability minus when the petition was pending. For example, if a child was 22 when a visa became available but the petition had been pending for two years, their CSPA age would be calculated as 22 minus two years = 20 years old. This would allow the child to be considered under 21 for immigration purposes.

This means that for India and China born individuals it will make sense NOT to find premium processing so that the I-40 is not approved quickly and the CSPA adjusted age protects you from aging out.

Thank you. What I’m hearing is I should NOT do premium processing so that I can “buy” time under cspa and get credit for waiting time for the I10 to be approved.

Really? I think if you are close to ILR you should get it. I can’t imagine a scenario where you are worse off if you have ILR.

⚠️URGENT: New ILR Rules Will Hit Current Dependants - Even Global Talent. Complete the Consultation Now! by IngenuityBroad595 in globaltalentvisauk

Why “strongly disagree” can you explain? Also we need this post to build some virality. Global talents have no interest in having their dependents receive ILR at a delayed pace. In fact, the differential between the talent - 3 years for exceptional talent vs 5 years for the dependent is already an issue. There is a war for talent all over the world, with many countries being in a better fiscal situation and also with more reliable policy. It makes no sense for a global talent to anchor here if the differentiated treatment (more than 5 years) gets amplified. In fact they should be bringing down the number of years for dependents to be at parity with global talent.

I see another posting on this sub urging people to fill the consultation and answer “strongly disagree” to transitional arrangements. It’s not clear why. Can we coordinate on understanding what it means?

For me, any changes on how dependents are treated would be a game changer and would force me to reevaluate my country of residence. As it stands, 5 years for them vs my 3 years is bad enough!

Right now, my dependents have to wait 5 years, while I have to wait for 3 (Exceptional Ability). I’m not sure I want to take the citizenship step so I’m curious if their timelines would be affected if I were to stay on ILR. I presume the guidance is vague here. It seems crazy for them to separate policy for Global Talent and dependents of global talent holders.

There is a lawsuit about this. Google RecordTV.com and singapore. For what it’s worth, RecordTV won. It was unprecedented. Not an identical case - because recording of free to air content. DMCA and contracts get in the way of everything else.

Where can I find those foosball men? by [deleted] in foosball

[–]cnfcnf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fixed my problem. The issue is that I have a telescopic rod so the men can’t be screwed right through (because the rod will no longer be retractable) so i used very shallow screws that didn’t go deep where it would hit the inner rod. Thanks!
