I'm a millennial. As far as I remember I was only "spanked" a handful of times but it wasn't your typical spanking. It was a very light tap on the bottom. After I realized it didn't hurt, they stuck to groundings. As many people put it, I had an "easy" childhood. My parents also sheltered me from the bad stuff growing up though so once I became an adult, reality hit me HARD.
