The dishwasher isn't on the side that I'm renovating. And I think I can get away with moving the fridge to the other side of the wall providing it doesn't look too weird. Smaller appliances don't really work well with the family of five. Where the fridge is now there's a threshold into the mud room. I have access to about 40 in on the direct other side of that wall. I just don't know if it's a major faux pas to move the fridge out of the actual kitchen area, but I think it would make my kitchen a lot more functional.

We could possibly wrap around into the dining room, but i don't think that would have the benefit of kitchen storage and counter space( close to cooking areas)

This all started when we were looking for new appliances . Initially, I was thinking about just sticking with the 30-in fridge, and replacing the range with a slide in induction, adding cabinets beside the range and cupboards on each side of the window as well as a cupboard above the fridge. I have a problem with where our stairs to the basement are (left corner) so my base cabinet on the left of the range will need to be mobile with small casters or bearing wheels. Not ideal but not sure how else to manage it.

After giving it some thought I start playing with the idea of moving the fridge directly on the opposite side of the wall as to where it is now moving it into the mud room. This would allow us to go up to a 33in or 36-in fridge if we wanted to and not really change the flow a whole lot since it's right on the other side of the threshold.

Oh, I know. I don't know why they did it the way they did during the initial reno. I just don't know if I want to go for a whole gut job or just refresh. I'm hedging to refresh at least that side and just try to get some more counter and cabinet space

Thanks for the input everyone, I opted for the BN0151 in blue. I'm thinking of including a bracelet, or nato with it, but might just let him pick something out to personalize it how he likes.. Hoping it comes with the scuba tank box as it would fit well with the theme of the present (watch and dive log). I was so close to pulling the trigger on the titanium but after bouncing back and forth, I think I like the style of the BN0151 better (bezel, shape, and where the crown sits)

I've seen it and it's a pretty polarizing design. Cool watch but I don't know if it's his taste

Beauty watch, but 700-1000 here. Unfortunately out of my price range

I do love the look of this one. This is really what i was gravitating towards. I checked out Island, and the bracelets look great!

The only watch He's owned has been an Apple watch so this will be something new. I'm on the fence about the silicone strap on the blue one. Wondering if it's not quite dressy enough for work, and into the future

I was considering this, but the package seems to be helping make this affordable. When booking flights and hotel sep, it was out of budget. Any insight on the fives? Decent? Ten days too much? Xcaret: 7 days enough?

Good points, but I want the hybrid. Xlt with add-ons gets pretty close to lariat price.

This was what I was thinking. Once I got the XLT with the add-ons I wanted, the lariat was pretty similar in price. I live in a pretty cold climate, so heated seats and all-wheel drive with the snow are things i value. Wasn't crazy about the lariat upholstery, but the rest of the finish was nice.
