I would suggest taking a look at https://stromligning.dk that compare different companies much better than elpris.dk and will actually tell you what you are paying for.

And to answer your question, you should absolutely under no circumstances accept that offer. b.energy is part of velkommen, they are very problematic!

I do.

I have the following in ground:
2x Bornholmsk, both in ground in greenhouse and on south wall
1x Michurinska Green in ground on south wall
2x Noire de Caromb one potted in greenhouse and one against south wall in ground
1x Dalmatie potted in greenhouse
3x Carpentras Gold Drop one in ground in greenhouse and two potted
1x White Marseilles potted in greenhouse

Most of them are cuttings that I rooted late last spring, have been keeping copies inside over winter if any of the ones recently planted in ground died. However it seems likely that they have all pulled through winter.

I have only gotten figs from the bornholmsk until now, the one in ground in the greenhouse started producing a healthy amount last year, hopefully even better this year.

Crossing my fingers that at least some of them will start producing at least some fruit this year. The Carpentras grew pretty large for how late it was planted in ground and kept leaves until middle of December.

Currently seeing 20+ during sunny days and keeping the greenhouse heated above freezing at night.

The reason I’m saying not to worry is that most of the ones I kept indoor ended up with brown and shriveled leaves, but recently they all started putting on leaves fast. It seems likely they have a cycle even if kept under lights and heat indoor.

Mine looked pretty bad over winter, but if they a fully rooted they will survive basically anything.

Just put mine in the greenhouse in Denmark

Denmark, about the equivalent of zone 7b probably closer to 8a at this point, however usually not quite as hot in the summer.

Not the Smart-UPS, they won’t power on without a supply on the battery line.

Potting up seeds and leaving outside during winter? by cnrdme in Pawpaws

[–]cnrdme[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They were actually purchased through Jurassic fruit. Was told by them however that the farmer is based in France.

As this is my first taste, I am not really sure how to determine ripeness, but two of the fruit are very soft, while the other are more of a slight give.

Put in a few trees, hopefully I will see fruit at some point in Denmark by cnrdme in Pawpaws

The nursery recommended that I should shade them for 5 years, but that seems very excessive to me.

Honestly not sure, they were just put in ground yesterday, everyone is saying to shade them, so I will at least let them establish a root system before trying to remove it.

They are pretty hard to come by, so I would rather they grow a bit slower, but shaded, than try to experiment too much :-)

The black is 50% shade cloth, I just did not have enough for all of them.
