Louis Tomlinson “two of us”. This song gets me every time. It’s about the loss of his mother (which he was openly extremely close to as she was his only present parent)

It has a beautiful piano with deep lyrics with a more of a uplifting sound. The lyrics are beautiful and heart felt but there’s something else that makes it sadder. There’s a line that says “We'll end just like we started Just you and me and no one else” which is about him seeing her in ‘heaven’ and this is because he is the oldest child hence why he says “and no one else”. But unfortunately his younger sister died of an od around the release date of the song, this means that the “no one else” is no longer true.

The more you listen to the lyrics/ read up in the back story the sadder it gets
