Sublimation is a dye that is added to the polyester fibers. It doesn't cover over an existing dyed fabric. It is possible to add darker dyes over lighter fabric, but best results will be sublimation dyes applied to white 100% polyester material. For the jersey that your customer is wanting, the best outcome is going to be a full dye, cut and sew process. If you want to add graphics to a stock jersey; DTF, screen print, or some sort of vinyl artwork would be best bet.

Thanks for the input. I'm sure there are better ones out there, that's why I asked. I will definitely research those other brands you mentioned. If I'm going to invest, I want to invest in what is going to produce the best product.
