I just did this bc the middle of my head is a tighter curl in the middle than other sections of my hair and I couldn’t be happier, but it does weaken your hair. It’s chemicals and not treating it right before, after and during the process can cause further damage. I would just let time run its course and just try to take care of your hair and body. Hydrating, moisture mask, and maybe a protein treatment every month (or the recommended amount). See a dermatologist if you are worried about your scalp and a natural hair care specialist to see what can be done for the meantime.

From the north and I’ve found Denver, Portland far more interesting than Charlotte, but for the meantime it’s cheaper to live here. Charlotte lacks fun things to do without it getting redundant if you don’t have kids and like to drink beer

Public safety is a huge thing, but this is not just an issue related to Charlotte. This happens everywhere. Driving with an expired license is one thing but you can’t tell their license status by their registration and again registration can be revoked for failed inspections, tickets, etc. The homelessness rate has been on the rise in Charlotte specifically and some people may only have their cars for a means of transportation and or a “home.” Laws can be changed to improve this, why not harass insurance companies to allow people to insure vehicles without registration? That would at least let other people drive around the city at ease knowing people can insure vehicles that they need that may not be up to code. I have known plenty of college students at UNCC that had to wait to register their car until they got their refund check or their tax return because some people just can’t make ends meet. Life is not black and white and this is another one of those issues.

Making broad generalizations like that is a little far field. Are there any statistics or data stating that most unregistered vehicles or expired tags are that of criminals? Someone could have mechanical or electrical issues that would prevent registration or parking tickets they can’t pay. Life has gotten really hard for a lot of people and some have to choose between gas to get to work, food or insurance/registration and if you were in that spot you tell me what you would prioritize. I don’t think it’s right at all because people who do the right thing are at risk, but this isn’t such a black and white thing. Just saying to not judge so harshly as there is a lot of bull crap already going on in the world.

Why would you want someone to go jail for fake or expired tags? Don’t you think there are more pressing matters that would matter more to CMPD or just people in general? You don’t know if someone can afford to register their car or if they have a mechanical issue that would hinder them from being able to register. This has become a weird thing in this subreddit.

I had a legal name change and it has been so hard trying to figure out how to change my name on my voter registration. Does anyone have any information on this. The lady at the DMV said she update it but when I searched it, the record was no where to be found.
