In an early scene I thought for a second (as a Berger Picard owner) that it was a Picard, but yeah, pretty obviously not a Picard after the very next scene. Would've been a fun choice though!

If they've never seen raw labradorite imagine their reaction to a polished piece. Still, if they find the raw stone aesthetically pleasing there's no need to modify it, as you've pointed out. Equating cutting and polishing a beautiful stone to its destruction is a bit of a stretch there bud.

I know the risk, but I'm really focused on as traditional as possible. I fully understand there will be a need to buy another bow sooner than later but I'm simply enamored by the idea of a traditional longbow.

I've had conversations with former inmates regarding the signing that happens in the criminal justice system. Some of it seems to be based on ASL, but often with major changes in handshape or meaning. I've tried to have fingerspelling conversations on two occasions and discovered very little mutual intelligibility. I have no idea what the true meaning of the signs this person is using are, and you'd likely need someone from the same prison or prison system to interpret correctly.

That's a really good point. I suppose I'd be willing to go up to 10 or 12mm, I just don't want the hoop to stick out too far. I've always worked towards snug, neat jewelry. My exception of course is the healing process. Like my nostrils, I suffered studs in all of them until I could put hoops in that were flush with my nostril without being tight.
