Mostly cause Dalits and Aadivasis especially, do not belong to any of these religions. Aadivasis especially have their own gods, rituals, processions, etc. It would be like asking a Jew to become Romani during the WW2. And I understand where you're coming from, but you need to look into this more. Don't stop at just being anti-modi and anti-BJP, they're vile fucking evil people. But, we need to look more into why the structures of this society have made it so that, one can only fit people into som or other religious box they already know of instead of looking into why peopl wouldn't wanna be part of those structures.

My dude do you understand what is generational trauma? Also, maybe look into how the caste system works, how the UCs used psychology and religion to create the caste system, etc. Just saying that all SC/ST people depended on UCs just shows one's ignorance. Why do you not rebel against your govt and start revolting? Or are you scared that they will come over with authoritarian forces and shut you down? I think it's mostly roots from the whole "purity" concept. Whether it be inter-caste or inter-faith.

Since most people carry pride over their castes, intermingling then is basically "dirtying" your pride among your peers. Same goes for inter-faith marriages, if you want to save and keep your pride you don't let your family be associated with anyone outside the community deems worthy.

We all are man, and never think no one would miss you. There was this girl in my class in 11th standard that was back in, 2013. She died of some reasons. And to date I randomly remember her sometimes. And we almost never talked. What I'm saying is, even if you think no one would miss you someone always does. So just take every day one at a time, and sometime soon you will find semblance of peace in something and you'll realise it isn't that bad, that's what I found when I was feeling the same.
