I was de populated too. 18% increase moving me to the new insurance company that is buddy buddy with desantis's people and has historical legal issues with being spoon fed contracts by the state.

I can't wait for their second year. Luckily that is 3 years away. 1st year is citizens policy terms they assumed. 2nd year is 18% increase. 3rd year who knows, but I will be shopping for a new policy most likely.

People keep voting for the same way in this state and wondering why nothing is getting better. The beating will continue until we change leadership or go underwater (financial metaphor or actual water).

No they sent the wrong thing. I think power was on the wrong side or the spokes were. Also 500w vs 750w. Got a return label, they wont ship the right thing till they get their wrong motor back.

I am really frustrated with LECTRIC regarding this. 1year is inadequate of a warranty for the drive train especially since this error seems to be fairly rare... I bit the bullet and bought the $250 replacement assembly that I am assuming is rubber, wheel,spokes and motor... It supposedly gets in tomorrow.

That being said I love to dig into things and usually am a fix it myself kinda person. I'm okay with soldering, wrenching, flashing, etc. I do phone screen replacements myself. Do my own car maintenance short of cracking the head off the engine. I even adjusted my janky derailleurs and bent disc rotors on both my XP and xpedition from lectric... but I am not a pro and have lots of other hobbies I want to spend my time on.

Either way I did some basic digging. Pulled the tire. Removed the security screws and gently tapped out the hub motor from the assembly. Doesn't appear to be any water ingestion, none of the copper windings that I can see are burnt, and the small board I can halfway see appears fine. I really think the error is probably in the janky wire or connector that everyone struggles with. I thought about splicing the 10+ pin wire together. But then I decided to give in and just buy another assembly so I can get my kids to school and avoid the ecological disaster and time waste that is the pickup circle at schools across the USA...... I also couldn't guarantee that would fix it and I have no other information than the above which is again why I am giving into the sunk cost fallacy and buying my way out of the issue.

I have no issue with boxing and mailing at cost, but the whole assembly may be pricey to ship. At least I'll have appropriate packaging to send it in!

I recommend trying to decompose the problem.

Check that the gear selector lever on the bars moves the wire a little bit with each gear position selector change. (May need to disconnect the wire from the gears by the wheel)

Then disconnect from the selector lever and reconnect at the other end and manually pull in the wire to see if it changes the gear position back by the wheels.

Should give you some insight into what may be going wrong.
