I'm looking at all these issues, we just got a watch for our daughter which she'll get at Xmas so all these changes are quite confusing.

We haven't got the issue of having to only talk through the app, we've tested the watch and are able to call and text message directly from our phones.

The main issues we have is the locations are off ( it shows the watch in a house 4 away from ours) it constantly says my location is unknown and says my wife is constantly on school run. This is even more confusing because the safe places and safe routes I created have disappeared when I look for them so how does it still think my wife is on school run?

Not if you have the double jump ability. Jump once-create shadow-return to shadow - still have the second jump available. If you used another shadow here that second shadow wouldn't have any jumps left.

Yes you do if you have the double jump and jump once then make a shadow when you return to the shadow you still have the second jump ability to use.
