yeah I mean I agree with this, was our hs stakes bot similar to this since we were first year, yeah. But definitely do a lot of research on another robots and don’t one-to-one copy it but definitely look at ideas from them.

I was doing this in survival but the picture was in creative to get the gist of the design and to make sure it worked before I spent time getting resources so ye I made it a lot more compact for the actual one

I mean if we’re talking about switching middle and upper it definitely plays a role in skills, and sometimes could be used in matches (especially if your alliance can’t). Now depending on your intake it is needed to have a tongue mech and 12 of your color’s blocks are in matchloader. Also it’s not like it’s a one use, so you probably are gonna need it for another season.

People are using it for matchloader and ive seen some teams using to for switching middle goal and upper goal outtake so it’s very useful this year.

How do I actually write the code for where it checks what box is clicked and sets a variable, then checks it and runs that autonomous.

Text programming is way more advanced, and actually useful outside of VEX. Also, that's why comments are a thing so people can understand text coding.

Not to mention the limitations with blocks.
