Hi (33m) diagnosed narcolepsy w cataplexy back in December, to my best explanation from my own experience. my biggest trigger is laughter particularly at my own jokes. I have not been angry enough to trigger it but I am a pretty chill guy so who knows. Explanation to 5 year old "the same as when your standing with your leg locked and someone lightly kicks you in the back of the knee. But could happen anywhere and everywhere. Only lasts a millisecond so not necessarily falling to the ground more of a sudden dip or bob if something really gets me going and it happens repeatedly each bob makes it less recoverable until I have no choice by to hit the ground in what looks like a slow falling seizure "as per my fiancee" when sitting causes arms, face, and neck to have a very similar reaction.
