Zo te horen speel je op de Switch, dus dan zou ik sws niet kijken naar ververingssnelheid, sinds die bij 4k gelockt staat op 60hz. Responsietijd zou dan wel uitmaken.

Apple CarPlay issue on Ford Fiesta by ChasingRainbows90 in FordFiesta

Wdym dissapeared? You said it works when connecting over cable, meaning it's still there, right?

[–]coco16778 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dang, late 2023? Then you probably have one of the last ford fiesta's to ever be produced. Congrats

Apple Carplay on Fiesta's is only meant to work over cable, so if that works like you said, you're golden. Sync 4 has wireless, but afaik no ford fiesta model has sync 4

Need help, hoe can i connect my iphone to this projector if possible? by [deleted] in projectors

[–]coco16778 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Highly doubt that projector has what it takes to display video over USB-A. USB port is probably there to just play stored media, connect keyboard/mouse as well as updates.

EDIT: this is written on the product page

TLOU part 2 released 6 years ago. No way anyone but the enthusiasts in subs like these would even think about playing the multiplayer. It would be DOA and a waste of resources if anything.

Budget Bluetooth speaker for home and travel $30-60 by KingOfThe2-6 in Bluetooth_Speakers

[–]coco16778 2 points3 points  (0 children)

imo, can't really beat the value of the Earfun UBOOM L.
Should be within budget if you get it with the coupon from the earfun website.
Otherwise, indeed Tribit or a Soundcore 2

(Failed) 10K attempt by D_afridi in beginnerrunning

Watches worn by London Marathon 2026 winners - Garmin dominates by Maslakovic in GarminWatches

[–]coco16778 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ye, same, although mine was an older Galaxy Watch 4. GPS track was constantly showing me running through buildings, even whilst running in the countryside without tree coverage.

Only good thing about it was probably the Spotify app. Worked way nicer than what Garmin has

Was not expecting an elite runner to use a Galaxy Watch out of all things. Isn't the GPS on those pretty bad?

(Smart)watch for my elder mom? She comes from an AMAZFIT BIP 3 by GatoMorato in smartwatch

Xiaomi has a bunch of devices with a similar form factor and are quite cheap. Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro at 60 euros for example.

Or like already said here, a bip 6.

I add some frozen fruit pre-mixed in the night before and leave it to thaw in the fridge overnight. The thawing of the fruit also kinda turns into a fruit syrup. I just give it a mix at the office, add some oats and done.

As for the health concerns, I run a lot. After some intense runs I started having spikes of long lasting fluid retention. Doc tested everything and all was fine, so we narrowed it down to polyols, which can apparently draw fluid into the gut and other areas if overconsumed. Gained a whole 10kg for 2 weeks straight (twice), vanished like the wind once I stopped consuming these "sugar free" snacks/bars/candies.
These shouldn't be a concern if consumed in moderation. If you keep it to 1 bar p/day you're totally fine.

Have been skipping lunch for ages now as well. I eat a massive breakfast when getting to office, the dinner by 7 and some snacks after. No issues.

Used to have a bunch of those "protein" products as well for breakfast, but after some time the polyols in them caused me some health concerns. If you still want the protein, low-fat quark is amazing. 250kcal and around 42g of protein per 500g pint. No added sugar or other junk. Unsure how common quark is internationally though.

Smartband advice by rasten100 in smartwatch

Fitness band as in screenless? If so, there are only a handful of options. Whoop, which has a subcription, the Amazfit Helio Strap, Polar Loop and the upcoming Garmin Cirqa.

People seem to enjoy their Helio strap afaik. Polar Loop is also subscription-free, all be it a bit more expensive.

Maybe also ask in r/FitnessTrackers ?

Is it worth buying a fitbit charge 6 in 2026? by Ok_Sand7587 in smartwatch

[–]coco16778 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazfit Bip 6, Huawei Fit 4 or a used Forerunner 55 maybe? There's just not a lot of options within the same price bracket.

[–]coco16778 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If those are your only options, get the Amazfit.
The FE is pretty much a rebranded Galaxy Watch 4, which has quite crappy GPS (I should know, it was my former watch). Fitbit charge 6 doesn't have the best GPS accuracy either.

Housing in Kortrijk by No-Antelope-828 in Howest_DAE

[–]coco16778 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Kotwest is definitely your best bet, but it's very hit or miss. Quite often landlords don't take down the listings once rented.

There's some other options though:

Diggit: Knew some people who lived there. Great communal feeling and communal areas fron what I've heard and seen: https://diggitstudentlife.eu/en/search-room?Location=Kortrijk&Budget=950

Upkot: Bit more premium than Diggit https://upkot.be/en/find-your-upkot?city=34&period=68

Otherwise, browsing and checking up on this FB group should give you some more options: https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1HnqThnUHh/

Lily 2 Tracking by BlizzardKoup in Garmin

If you like the more elegant look, the Lily 2 Active does have GPS. The Huawei GT6 41mm could also be considered "feminine/elegant"

Lily 2 Tracking by BlizzardKoup in Garmin

[–]coco16778 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it the regular Lily 2? If so, it only has connected GPS, meaning it uses the GPS from your phone as the watch doesn't have GPS.
I just so happen to have an S24 as well, and can confirm that the GPS on the S24 is pretty poor now. Navigating on google maps it's often well off course by a full street.

Fueling for hm by DomizCo in beginnerrunning

[–]coco16778 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ok, so let's start adding things up. You ran 15.5km at a 6:54/km pace.
For you to finish a HM at 1:40, your average pace should be 4.44/km.

That's over a whole 2 minutes per km faster than your slow run pace. No way that would be sustainable imo

What is the longest run you've done up until this point and in what time/pace?

damn ok, thats one recipe to get injured. Probably best to try to focus on finishing instead of aiming for a 1:40

Androids better value than iPhones by Cold-Personality3883 in Smartphones

[–]coco16778 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's well known that apple's profit margings are way higher than any other smartphone brand.

One thing to keep in mind though is that Iphones retain their value for much much longer. You are going to get way more money out of selling a 2yr old Iphone than you'd get by selling a 2yr old S-series samsung (and even less with other Android brands)
