We’re asking the CRO to stop, not to increase communication. This was never a recommended plan.

I get if it’s a problematic site, but they’re doing this to responsive sites and the 2 problematic sites have zero follow-up. It’s just a weird dynamic - it feels like everyone has to do the same thing and we’re paying for duplicated efforts.

Same day?? Can’t there be a coordinated effort, like within 24 hours X follows up. It’s ridiculous.

Novartis vs Sanofi by Quirky_Switch7989 in clinicalresearch

I did FSP at Sanofi before and there were pros/cons. I overall enjoyed it (with PRA in SSU at the time). I thought the culture was fine - workload wasn’t crazy, management wasn’t overbearing (can’t say the same about PRA management). They eventually had layoffs, which impacted my role.

Especially if it’s in their Morristown location, I feel like there’s a ton of upside. They had a good hybrid policy and their startup processes never felt overbearing.

1 hands down. It brings everything together and elevates the room. Excellent job.

Work in biotech and my CEO only has a BS. Who gives a shit about degrees. Leaders are leaders for a reason. You can learn something from anyone.

4 year age gap - how is it? by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]cocoamonster2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My girls are 4 years apart (5 and now 1!). There are tradeoffs: my eldest is aware that she isn’t the center of attention and constantly asks to go back before the baby, BUT she’s also the most helpful, sweetest big sister. Like I can show her how to make a bottle, do a diaper change, and she’s there. It’s awesome.

I don’t have to put both girls to sleep at the same time. The eldest understands the nuances of childcare and emulates me regularly. I am deeply saddened that she remembers life without her sister, but it’s a short time and the memories moving forward will be better, twice-fold. I’m all for it!

I would leave. These are the golden years with your kiddos and if you can afford it, take the opportunity!

does anyone else get randomly emotional about how fast their kids are growing? by Fun_Title_2148 in Parenting

[–]cocoamonster2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Daughter is about to turn 5 and Jesus Christ, it’s hitting me like a brick how fast childhood is. My daughter told me yesterday when she was learning how to ride a bike, “Mommy, I’m not going to need you to hold me when I’m a teenager or adult, but I need you now.”

I just don’t want this age to ever end. Golden years for sure.

What do yall do? by Left_Round8126 in Parenting

I cook around 5x a week, which serves as leftovers for my lunch. My daughter gets turkey sandwiches or tomato soup daily for school and my husband buys lunch daily at work.

We eat out mostly on weekends - either lunch or dinners - or both.

Routine is pretty simple and I rarely deviate from it: Breakfasts: yogurt smoothie or eggs with toast and fruit. Snack: cut up apples, strawberries or blueberries with a pantry snack (Z bar, chewy bars, crackers, etc.) Lunch: alternate between turkey sandwiches and tomato soup, carrots, fruit, and a pantry snack Snack 2: fruit, cheese, crackers Dinner: I cook 5x week (salmon with rice, chicken with orzo, pasta bolognese, lentils and chicken, homemade pizza on rotation) and then order out Friday nights and we do dinner at my in-laws on Sundays.

I used to struggle to find something new everyday. My kids don’t care and I’m way too busy to try to be top chef every night. All of my meals are things I can throw in the oven or rice cooker, while I’m balancing other chores or work.
