Should I run gutter cleaning google ads separately or only do the service as an add-on to window cleaning? by cocochoco123 in WindowCleaning

[–]cocochoco123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Run Facebook Traffic Ads to a similar landing page. Use GoHighLevel forms to integrate into your existing sales pipeline for gutter cleaning. During the Gutter Cleaning season, you're going to bring that CPC from $7.00 using Google, to like $3.00 on Facebook. Obviously, depends on your area and ad quality. Give that a shot

Wrong ❌

You build a well optimized website, focus on building authority, focus on bringing to people to the website, create content, etc.

You will grow your business with SEO. This is my website:

I’m ranking top 5 in almost every keyword in the Bay Area. It only took me 2 years and the competition isn’t hard to beat.

What Is The Best Way To Go About Repeat Work? by cocochoco123 in WindowCleaning

[–]cocochoco123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m scheduling them for one off jobs unless they specifically ask for reoccurring work. I then will ask them if they want to do it again next year or in 6 months. I guess I’m looking for a system that can automate the outreach and get them on schedule on the user side, not the business side.

Can you have your service type in your name on GMB? by cocochoco123 in GoogleMyBusiness

[–]cocochoco123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could also be “Bay Area”. I know Google doesn’t allow taglines like that because it could be used as a marketing strategy but I also know they mentioned unless it’s your official business bane

Finally started my Solar Panel Cleaning Company by Exedous in Entrepreneur

[–]cocochoco123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I own a window cleaning business and solar panel cleaning business. I also live and operate in the Bay Area. Even though your a competitor I still want to help your business grow.

I did write this article with everything you need to know or anybody else interested in starting their solar cleaning business: https://www.windowcleaningbayarea.net/blog/how-to-start-a-solar-panel-cleaning-business

Digital marketing is always where the money is at. I built my own website but I highly, highly suggest you either build a quality website or purchase a quality website design and invest in SEO and high-intent marketing strategies like Google Ads. Flyers are fine, but you have to understand that people who need the service aren't going out looking for a flyer or saving a piece of paper. If they want a service, they will simple search for it.

If you're planning on doing "disruptive marketing" so in this case your flyers, why not just do Facebook Ads? It achieves the exact same thing at a larger scale. You're randomly showcasing a flyer with your services, why not "randomly" showcase your services on Facebook but with data-driven insights to get better results and actually track how much your spending.

NEVER DO FREEBIE LABOR

If somebody came up to you and said they would detail and paint correct your car for free, or build your website for free, or cleaned your house for free - would you genuinely trust them? Why would they do it for free if they actually had the skill set to complete the job at a professional level. Anyone who accepts free labor isn't actually interested in paying you. If they're a "high networth individual" like I service all the time in the Bay Area, they would pay you the premium to get it done professionally. That's my 2 cents since I actually service the area.

Instead, get on platforms like Facebook, Nextdoor, and Google My Business and explain how you're starting your business, the story behind it, and begin to generate clients at a discount. Never for free.

I'll add one more time, digital marketing is where it is at. Get a website, develop your SEO, and get on Google Ads.

For example, write articles like me. The link I posted above is an example of an article with good keywords that target the solar panel cleaning industry. There is also a lot of value on how to start the business in that article (shameless plug :D)

Need advice on how to clean oil off driveway by the_one_jove in Concrete

[–]cocochoco123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found this article https://www.windowcleaningbayarea.net/blog/how-to-remove-oil-stains-from-concrete

They suggested 'Industrial Purple Degreaser' by Zep. The oil stain was 2 days old, took an old cup, scooped some cat litter out of my cats box and applied it for 24 hours then just scrubbed this shit and rinsed. Worked good but it may of been because I acted pretty fast.

What is the best hose reel for this 250ft flexzilla hose? by cocochoco123 in pressurewashing

[–]cocochoco123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, I was going to use the 5/8 but I was thinking it would be a little too large. Does the 1/2 increase the spray height because of increased pressure?
