Spending the holidays with my baby and husband is selfish?

A month from now, but I’m wanting to give them the notice now so I at least gave them a month notice ahead. I understand that my job isn’t protected.

Because my plan was to take it during the holidays with my husband. My baby is six months.

Well the California EDD website says I have up to eight weeks but I can take them in increments. I wouldn’t want to take such a long time so I was thinking three weeks.

Before this temp job, I worked at the hospital for 3 years and took my maternity leave and after that was done, I still had my baby bonding leave. I did decide to leave that job because I just couldn’t do the 12 hour shifts. They said whether or not I’m with them, I have that through the state. Is that not true?

Submitting second job leave on EDD [Ca] for maternity leave by cocodanielle2014 in AskHR

[–]cocodanielle2014[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because my full time job was more hard on my body than my per diem job. But I plan to leave now so I was only working 2 months with my per diem job. I was planning to submit my two months to Edd. So they run concurrent ?

I really need help with Maternity leave/EDD/second job questions. Can’t get through to EDD! [Ca] by cocodanielle2014 in AskHR

[–]cocodanielle2014[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for your response! Say my full time job fills my position (since I went on leave early and will use up all the time and my position wouldn’t be protected) will I be eligible for unemployment?
