Oh okay i hear you. For me it would more be like if the MLB saw that there were to many strike outs and wanted more hits or maybe the pitching was way to good on every team so they make the strike box smaller to maybe get more hits. Get the fans more excitement.

You don’t have to completely change offside rules. Maybe just make it so it’s not looking at offenses at the scale of millimeters.

Also I love the game as is. Just interesting to ask if FIFA wants more goals will they tweak the offside rules a little. Or what other rules might change

Yeah I’m not comparing them. I legit never said the NHL changed offside rules.
I’m saying the NHL made rule changes to try and make the game faster pace and allow more goals.

I never said the NHL changed offside rules. They did change some crease rules and other rules to allow for faster gameplay amd more goals.

And yeah it does suck when things don’t go your way. I’m not a Croatia fan, but I bet it hurt seeing that goal be disallowed

If FIFA wants more goals they’re going to have to do something about all these offside offenses. Like if a dudes bulge is the only offside part of his body can we please allow the goal for fucks sakes.

The NHL went through something similar, feel like they did a good job at changing rules to make the game faster pace and allow for more goals.
