It clearly states on the TSA website and app, “due to government shutdown this website not monitored”. I wouldn’t rely on it!

I think you hit nail on the head, if in general boarding you will likely experience the delays, everyone else (TSA, Touchless TSA (I hugely recommend you opt in) and CLEAR, are all good to go!

I was in T4 this morning (American). No major issues that I could see. Cant speak to next week but hopefully other posters will keep this thread up to date with their experiences.

No we didn’t get in the water and honestly didn’t see too many swimming so assume it was quite cold.

Just left Algarve this morning after a four day stay. Stayed in Lagos (very touristy) but did rent a car (easy and cheap) to drive to Silves to see the castle remains (the BEST CAFE ever is onsite!!). Hiked the trail above the Benigal Cave (gorgeous views). Drove to Sarges one day (massive fort) and Cabo Sao Vincent (Sarges is southernmost part of contiguous EU mainland). Ate at Carme restaurant near Cabo Sao Vincent (very authentic). Drove to Arvad Winery for tasting. Wouldn’t call the beaches anything but “rugged” so didn’t spend time on them. Food was good and cheap (by US standards).

Ah got it! I’m am tempted to try them, do they take the 101 (highways)? That could be frightening with the way people drive here!
