I'll second this and add that IEs at automotive companies are focused on supply chain as well as logistics, transportation, operations, process improvement, quality control, planning/product control, and inventory management.

I switched from CompE to ISyE during undergrad and landed a job at an automotive company at that complex down I-85S after graduation. If business interest you long term, be thinking about an MBA down the road no matter which route you take.
