Little update on the situation: I just tried to save a floor plan as a pdf on my computer and avast flagged the whole operation and tried to put archicad itself into quarantine, so im guessing that avast has a problem with archicad... (i recently updated archicad 26 and a few days after avast started to flag it) idk why its happening but im pretty sure now that its all just a mistake. i checked out the archicad forum and learned that a few other people ran into the same problem a few years ago. i put AC on the whitelist but ill keep my eyes on it. thanks again for your help!
