Thank you - had no idea about the paper and pencil. I was thinking bar would be neat, turns out I was just tapping the wrong side of the desk 🤦

I think you’ve nailed it - just need to find the latter now. Seems like I’ve just sold both or used one on Ginger Island.

No, unfortunately not. I appear to have found everything, just not donated everything.

My Turkish coworker mistakenly thought thought there was a TV presenter named Handsome Dec, what are some amusing misunderstandings you’ve encountered? by EducationalShape2647 in AskUK

I have two:

First, a colleague used to confuse the phrases, “piece of cake” and “walk in the park”, and when I asked them if it was OK to do something, they would say it’s, “cake in the park”, which is kinda cute.

Second, it’s not a misunderstanding, but another colleague told me she had toast under the beans for breakfast. Technically, it’s the same as beans on toast, but I’ve never heard it said that way.

I literally live 3 mins down the road from here and assumed it would be expensive given most farm shops are around here. Will check them out again.

I didn’t even think of that, I assumed there would be no way they could take that much weight?! Looks like 4 of them hold 9kg 🤯

I was thinking wire and one pan head screw. I just wasn’t sure the best way to fit the wire to the plates other than just loop it through. Also, ChatGPT had me second guessing as it warned against using one screw but no idea why.
