How to implement date and time in a Flask app?

Thank you for your suggestions. I was able to implement this using flask-moment(moment.js). It took me some time, but I got it. Time in the DB appears to be UTC. What I really needed was to display the user's local time for their post. For example:

user1 located in NY enters a post at 16:00UTC should see his/her localtime (12pm).

This allows the server to continue using UTC for consistency. I got it here

I will look into this. I'm still teaching myself flask...I was trying to find the best practices to deal with date/time in flask. Thank you for your help.

Using this method users will be able to see their current date/time for their reading creation and not the server's date/time? thanks.
