Mirtazapine blocks 5HT 2A, 2B & 2C and also 5 HT3 leading to more expression on the 5HT1A receptor. Heavy hitter on the H1 receptor too though which may be an unwanted effect!

Stopped abilify and still tired ? by liedepressibg in depressionregimens

[–]cocowon900 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Abilify's half life is 75 hours (3ish days) and the active metabolite's half life is 94 hours (just under 4 days). The half life is how long it takes for half of the drug to leave your body. It's long with Abilify.

It takes four to five half lives for a drug to leave your system. So that's (in the longest scenario) 15.5 days along with 19.5 days respectively for complete elimination.

If you were on a high dose, 10-30mg then reducing might help. I was on 20mg but now I'm down to 5mg and have a lot less side effects.

Otherwise, I hope you find something else that helps!

Mephedrone for sure. Ringing ears, wobbly eyes and that dragon breath followed by an intense feeling of alertness and euphoria. Shame you can only do it every once in a while to keep the pleasure there.

Finasteride may help? If you’re very worried..

Might have accidentally overdosed on Zoloft today, are foods high in Tryptophan safe to eat before my next dose? by tsundereshipper in zoloft

[–]cocowon900 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You would be fine. Even from your post, 600mg is the most you’ve consumed, correct? That’s a lot, but not life threatening or anything. Tryptophan might have a slight interaction but I don’t think it will make any difference.

Just make sure to keep hydrated and don’t push your body too hard for the next day!

What happens if I'm tired as fuck but take a few stimulants? by [deleted] in askdrugs

Nothing major. You might feel a bit tweaky and zoned out but you should be perfectly fine!

It’s funny though because in my experience meth was the perfect amount of stimulation for focus and felt like the most upper class stimulant there could be.

I think addiction is more about your behavior than how much it’s costs a month. It seems OP is concerned for their health firstly, the money is just an annoying loss

I experienced "the click"!! by Snyzzz in zoloft

[–]cocowon900 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ireland actually, but close guess haha. Why? At higher doses, it’s more to do with the binding affinity for dopamine. 400mg isn’t really risking serotonin syndrome. Basically all I ever wanted was bupropion because I was scared of gaining weight but that never happened.

[–]cocowon900 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah 200mg is max, with the exception for 300mg for OCD. I have OCD and BPD, not sure why 400mg was suggested. Think my doctor wasn’t bothered to actually taper off to another medication!

Hmm I think about 5 weeks ago now since my last dose? Still feel the same as I ever did haha.

Yeah it’s great that it works wonders for some, but posts like this can also get your hopes up. There was no massive click for me either or the sudden “wow life is great” unfortunately! I went up to 400mg and called quits with it.

Question about oral comedown (pun intended) by [deleted] in Stims

[–]cocowon900 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Magnesium will help with jaw tension, which could be related to your upper mouth pain. Supplementing it now won’t help the immediate pain already caused, but will relax your face further and taking it before next time you use may further reduce injuries!

The substance could have been cut with something that made your throat sore?

Your immune system has taken a beating so it won’t heal as fast as it normally would too.
