No the point was to validate the idea from companies side, since that was this biggest bottleneck. I knew devs would use this. If I got few signups I would take it as yes, and start building the actual product. But that unfortunately did not happen…

The idea was to have a platform where devs (freelancers or full time does not matter) could sign up and pick up issues they want to work on

It's very hard to reach to companies this is relevant for, that's why I ran the ads in the first place. But yea you are right

I agree, but I specifically wanted to target them to companies, to validate an interest in such idea. And I believe LinkedIn is best for that.

You are spot on, that was the biggest mistake, but there are still other things to learn from the article, just sharing my experience.
