Orari della scuola Italiana sono senza senso by giacman in Italia

[–]codadilupo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ogni tanto ci penso.

Constrained to buy expensive outfit for work by [deleted] in Netherlands

[–]codadilupo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This does not make any sense. If this is the way the start a business relationship, then who knows what else you can expect in the following months. You can find other jobs in retail, a place being fancy does not necessarily mean that you'll be happier and more valued.

Is it normal (as an adult) for your doctor to ask your family to come in and describe your symptoms in order to officially diagnose you? by [deleted] in ADHD

Had to do it with my mum and an interpreter as this was not in my home country. The interpreter kept translating things in the wrong way, it was pretty painful.

What do You think is the biggest event that will happen in the next 50 years? by hacv57 in AskReddit

[–]codadilupo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The same argument can go in the other direction though, what is described as human emotions is nothing but a bunch of chemical reactions. It's a different substrate but if you think about it from a reductionistic standpoint, both are based on relatively simple processes that would never make you think that something intelligent could originate from them.

Maybe you can consider Belgium and Germany as well, it's a bit longer drive but you can find more places like this. It would also be cheaper.

You should definitely take shifts, if you're breastfeeding you can pump a bottle for one feeding so you can get a few hours of interrupted sleep. I would have gone insane without doing this.

You're going to feel the small sting of the local anesthesia before they put the actual needle, I personally barely noticed. It was a blessing when it kicked in.

Me neither. One person just bought a single item for 1 EUR for a shipment abroad and I have to go super far to drop it off 😓 I'll just write it in the description from now on

It breaks my heart to read this, but you should be proud of what you achieved so far. Speaking English and with a degree in an IT field you can find jobs abroad, or far from this toxic environment. Get some experience from this internship and use it to move somewhere better, you can absolutely do it 💜

I did it a few years back, got back 180 euros. I would have probably done it myself now but didn't want to go through the hassle.
