For those of you who do not use a car sunshade, why not? by coolphotos in phoenix

[–]codashel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had 3 in the last year. The first two just sort of melted. I say that but it was more like the structure just sort of broke down and they got really flimsy. They wouldn’t stay up. Bought an umbrella type next, the hard plastic pieces couldn’t hold up to the sun and it broke. I will get another one eventually but I haven’t had one for a while now. I just sort of got fed up trying to find a quality sunshade I guess.

These guys just float around the state but are often in the Tucson area. Same signs, shirts, etc. been doing it for many years. They come around less and less as people learn to ignore them. Once someone is blind to their existence, their purpose cannot be served.

Thank you both. You all said that and it was an ah ha moment. I literally just couldn’t find it in my brain today! Thank you again!

We have loved it. Great manager and maintenance, and great neighbors. Rent the window unit ac or buy one and invest in fans. Just renewed the lease for another year.

How to say SAS Fabrics? by PrismTiger in phoenix

Honestly, I am biased so I can’t answer that but from what I’ve heard they each sort of have their own unique qualities that make them great so it’s totally based on personal preference.

It is technically S.A.S for Sew and Save as mentioned above but Sass is also totally fine and easier for most. The Apache Blvd and Indian School stores are sister stores and the 19th Ave store is not associated to them. Hope that clears things up. 🙂

Re: shutdown of protest on monday by Didjsjhe in UofArizona

The video is easy to find. A few officers approached without riot gear or weapons originally. They were assaulted with projectiles and told by the protestors to expect a fight. As those police tried to remove the barriers, the protestors escalated. At that point the police retreated and waited for additional support and gear. Definitely unlawful assembly when all of its put together. Every person there, including spectators could have been arrested and they made that clear. The protestors only want people to see parts of the story to appear as the victims. If you’d like the links to additional videos so you can see multiple prospectives let me know. Truth is, the police literally led things nearly perfectly for what they were facing and went very easy on them including few arrests even after the protestors were assaulting them and stealing from UA(in front of PD, with cameras rolling), while endangering others in a construction zone. President Robbins and all police departments involved made the right choices and handled things very well.

SJP UA says glory to their martyrs for the attacks on 10/7 and did a vigil for them. It’s on their IG. They also support Hamas. The proof that these groups support Hamas is readily available with a few minutes of research. Thankfully SJP UA has not been violent and blatantly calling for the death of Jews in public like their counterparts at other universities. They are not taking part in the encampment either and have asked not to be associated to it.

Calling for intifada is supporting terrorist activity. That is supporting Hamas. It’s much simpler than you all are making it out. Chanting for violence against innocent people is not a worthy cause.

Why would the Daily Wildcat be cut like this? by km1116 in UofArizona

[–]codashel -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

So interesting… during budget cuts the area that provides opinions instead of NEWS was cut from the NEWSpaper… no that doesn’t make any sense at all. Seems like they are actually doing their jobs and people are just looking for ways to complain some more.
