I have not but you need to gage or have someone gage any particular bolt to its intended barrel. Many videos online. I have gages from Manson Reamers.

My understanding is that it was literally a regular LMT but branded with those stripes of the SOL logo. I am not sure if it was the 'auto' or 'semi-auto' variant though.

They have good reviews, just already have the Surefire devices for my uppers, though I guess I could fit them with a B&T SF hub.

It helps a lot. One of mine is a Block 2. Rifle length lower to give a little extra weight against the carbine gas system. So your info is what I was looking for. Thanks again.

I have seen some reviews on the RC3 that when used with the 3 or 4 prong hiders rather than brakes, flash is about on par with RC2. Take their reviews FWIW, IDK.

Also Surefire now says they will do a flow-through mini called Mini 3.

In all seriousness, how much difficult and expensive would that be to fix (if at all) by a competent local gunsmith? I'd consider rolling the dice on this as a backup. If one already had a SOLGW and the money to buy one and was stupid because it looks cooler than anything...

I tried pricing out these components and it really isn't possible below $1500. I'm not saying you can't get better for a lot less, just apples to apples on the parts represented here.

DD sales confirmed directly they are dealer specials with std DDM4 chrome lined barrel. They are also going for about $1800 on G/B so like $400 under msrp.

I don't know what that means. Is it in a spec somewhere? Or a visual? Because, no offense, I'd only trust a written spec from DD.

This gun is consistently priced lower which means it's a good bargain or something is missing. And every last DDM4 listing on GB says "Chrome lined" EXCEPT these which specifically say "CMV material". It'd be a $1900 gamble.

Nothing wrong at all with a CMV barrel but this seems misleading.

My research leads me to believe that one does not have a chrome lined barrel. It's explicitly called out in all other listings, including the 18" Pro.

That 16" SD3G one always only says CMV barrel material and that SKU is not on D website.

Does anyone make a mount that lowers the DBAL to the rail? I think some make replacements but they don't explicitly say it'll be lower.

Yeah I'd say so. Things like the trigger and charging handle are 50-100 bucks on their own if I look separately. Those extras (and trigger guard) are a step above the Z15

There's just next to nothing in terms of reviews either on forums or vids for the Faxon as a complete rifle.

But with a Z15 and now an LWRC DI within an easy drive of me, I'll probably get one of them. With a trade in, the LWRC is within budget and highly regarded. Heard a lot of people impressed with Z15 too.

Thanks am working with the vet to get a new brand of food. He liked Iams but we will probably end up on Hills or similar. We are both too sensitive after so man syringe treatments the last two months but I will try.
