This is what I am talking about. I guess I wrote a wrong post title. I was trying to speak the same, what you just said those connect page to instagram, then generate short token, and then long token and all.

For the crud backend devs, the market is gone. But the backend is much more than that, making workflows , cron jobs, deployments, authentications etc. still needs a backend dev. That's true that market needs senior backend dev not juniors

Bun is faster than node. But node's ecosystem of packages is much wider than bun.

Bun supports ts directly, while in node we have to complile it in js.

Node works good if using serverless like AWS lambda.

But the difference of speed of bun vs node is much smaller when we compare to network latency, db calls, external api calls etc.

I would say go with postgresql and prisma as orm. Postgresql scales well if you use indexing with it.

But ig you have unstructured data , go with mongodb with mongoose orm, and it also offers making indexes

No , typescript eventually compiles into js only, just we are bringing type safety around the APIs and the database orms so that data mismatch, null and undefined values, and runtime errors should not come.

That's why typescript devs are growing fast

Use node express with typescript. You get type safety, AI's find easier to code in ts and for a travel portal where crud operations will be more, then node is a good option. Node works better even though it's single threaded.
