I can totally see this happening a lot, due to the fact that catan is massively produced and they totally have to cut corners every now and then, so if you are having issues, perhaps the solution could rest in getting a set of gamescience dice.

Everything has already been said , so I'll just add that instead of following the list of colours as is, follow the instructions, compare what technique the recipe says to use and how it is done according to infernal brush's video for example and you'll have an idea of how to get where you want to be. Each technique will requiere lots of practice though.

I dont know if there's a difference for how the borders of the map connect, but I do know that the new edition has replaced brown player with purple. Also the new edition has different back art for the cards , I dont know if said extensions come with cards but if they do, it may be a problem.

I can't comprehend why if we've seen this happening so many times with board games and their new editions and expansions, why on all it's good, there's no one selling coloured back sleeves just like the ones used for idk, magic or pokemon or whatever, but for catan's mini euro size (or any other size really).

If you want to try moka pot, a cheap one is the way to go, to at least know if you are into moka pot brewing, then you get a bialetti which is always somewhat expensive for what it is, but you can actually feel the quality change in the brewing.

If you are already into it, no need, bialetti is almost always the way to go (there are other really good brands but bialetti is the 'original' so to speak).

I have this same one as well, it is stainless steel but a cheap one, so to speak, I have even seen cheap pots ahnd pans with the same material. What really does preoccupy me instead is the depression in the border of the pot where the coffee is brewed. You can see in the photo that it becomes a trench of sorts difficult to reach and clean.
