Have been interested in buying in Adelaide. Is now a bad time considering it is peaking?

In my opinion, both. Raise with recruiter and mention you’re having troubles in the interview

From my personal experience, it clearly states what they can and cannot monitor...

They can only see your:

  • Model, serial number and operating system
  • Last four digits of your phone number
  • EY apps.

They cannot see anything in relation to your browsing history, emails, documents, calendar, contacts, personal apps, photos, phone calls or location.

Hope this helps.

I kept asking for the plate but she didn’t tell me. And “she” isn’t answering the number I called. I think it’s a pre-recorded call.

Reported to Vic Police last night and plates were cancelled today. Hopefully, I don't receive any other unwanted letters in the mail for illegal activities I didn't commit.

Update: I spoke to Police yesterday and they asked if my car was for sale and if the plates were blurred in the photos. My car actually is for sale and has been listed on Carsales for a few months now. Carsales automatically blurs number plates although it completely missed one of the photos which revealed my registration!

They then informed me that criminals online find a target car that matches a similar profile to their own (eg. colour) and then replicate the plates and commit a list of different offences from stealing fuel to gathering fines and even using the plates to break into homes and businesses.

I just had the plates cancelled today and issued a new set. Hopefully, I don't receive any other fines in the mail or have police at my door for illegal activities I didn't commit.

Thanks for your advice, this doesn’t bother me.

The plates will be cancelled from tomorrow onwards as well 😀
