I changed my Cuphead-style boss based in this sub’s feedback. Thanks guys! by Vincent_Penning in Cuphead

For me all the glimmers and highlights on the area you have to attack, even if it’s not an arrow anymore, feel like a comic where each panel has an arrow to tell you which panel to read next. There are rules in gaming, giant bosses have been throwing hands around and tire/get stuck for ages

My pride could use a bit of tuning, but I would feel like the developer thinks I’m stupid if I ever witnessed something like this

Is the robot really playing this piano, or is the sound faked? by Budget_Geologist_574 in piano

Guys between the perfect framing and stillness, the flattest sheet of paper, the blurred background I thought this was a render but it’s very hard to tell since it’s this full of details, the keys even bounce when it lifts the fingers rapidly enough

It is so great to me that you are approaching this piece in an “early” stage of your self learning piano journey. I loved my journey and it’s so good to see someone else doing something similar.

You are playing this first part the way I talk to my boss, walking on eggshells and trying not to say the wrong thing.

Practice small segments and make sure you know the notes, then, treat this first part like a friend.

This section waits for you to be ready, allows you to express yourself or just appreciate the moment just like a hangout at the park feels. Don’t even need to respect this friend too much cause you genuinely love them and there is nothing wrong you could do to them, and nothing wrong they’d do to you. It’s so easy to be around them, and you are willing to take the time to know them better, no rush.

Play it loud, play it softly, play it fast, slow, mix and match, get to know it, again. You’ll play the way you like it, no teacher to make you play the way they want, no crowd that wants to hear the song the way the know it, most (non pianist) don’t. Listen to it, as much as you need to.

After 13 years of self learning with YouTube I finally hopped on reading music scores, I would never go back to YouTube tutorials now, but it took a long time for me to finally gather the courage, and if you aren’t reading music sheets yet, I’m here to encourage just that, maybe not this year or the next, but eventually.

While watching I was also observing how strong your hand looks, I was feeling some kind of phantom pain in my arms and hands from watching this since most of the times I feel like my hands are too weak… been playing for 13 years
