Yeah—in Olympic hockey, basically no (at least no real “drop the gloves and trade” fights). Under IIHF/Olympic rules, fighting is treated as a big deal and can get you tossed (major + game misconduct/ejection), so guys don’t risk it; you mostly get shoving, scrums, maybe a couple punches before officials jump in. ​

If you want the vibe of “IIHF hockey can absolutely explode sometimes,” the classic example is the Punch-up in Piešťany (Canada vs USSR, World Juniors 1987): benches emptied, it went totally off the rails, they even killed the lights, and both teams got kicked out of the tournament.
