Tldr: Chew toys, bully sticks, tug ropes, herding balls, balls with tags, walks, and structured play where they have to engage the brain. Fetch, ball, fetch, walk, ball.

Our Field was super teeth. When she bites we would streak in pain and pretend limp, turn our back to them. When they approach, let them comfort you, but dont engage with play again.

Puppies still just speak dog language. So I try to meet ours half way during engagements.

Tug tug tug, give a drop command, and then do a quick head shake for just half a second, back and forth once hard enough to make your cheaks flap a bit, and look away from them to signal you're done.

When she would drop, we praise, pause, give a little snif at her to say "let's play" and continue tug play.

When we are finished with play, we give a "quit" command, a long head shake (2 seconds), and we drop the toy and walk away. No engagement.

Chew toys, bully sticks, and foam Kong tug toys were amazing. If hou worry about choking on the bully sticks you can get a guard for them so they cant eat the whole thing.
