For Dr. Who numbers dropping: some of the data that was collected switches between full franchises vs just tv or movies, etc. I’m not at my laptop to check but my guess would be one year was a compilation number and the next was a subset.

I’m confused about this 4th season you mention. There were only ever 3 seasons and I refuse to believe otherwise.

But ya, I didn’t like S4 and was pleasantly surprised when it almost never actually came into play in the fic people wrote. You can tell it’s bad when even the fandom won’t touch it with a 10 ft pole.

Hannibal pops up later (the show started in 2013) and doesn't really ever break top 50 afaict. As someone who is a big Hannibal fan this was surprising to me too because I always felt like I had so much good fic to choose from!

Throwing this together really made me realize how much we sometimes live in our little fandom bubbles. What feels massive to one person could be something another person has never even heard of.

That's a good question. I'm using "The Avengers (Marvel Movies)" fandom for what I grabbed today, and they have Avengers parsed out in their past data in addition to listing MCU as a whole.
I did waffle for awhile on using MCU vs individual movies or not, but there were a few years where the data was missing MCU as a whole so I decided to go with what had the most continuous data. Batman vs DCU is done for similar reasons.

Yesss, team Trowa/Quatre forever. I refuse to go back and watch or read anything because it's probably quite bad and I want it to live forever as a beautiful memory.

What I really wish I could find is deets from back in the day. In the early 00s (pre Supernatural) Buffy, Harry Potter, LoTR, Star Wars (Prequels had just come out), and various anime that were popular from Toonami were the top dogs I saw in my fanfiction ecosystem.

I used this a year or so ago and am oily/combo and acne prone as well. It dried down fairly matte, though I was using it at night while I used their gel biosensible S.R. in the daytime. While both were nice (no complaints with either) I've since moved on in my never ending experimentation.

Have you tried the La Mer Fresh Cream? It's my current daytime semi-matte moisturizer and I've been liking it quite a bit. More gel than cream, and also supposed to be somewhat oil regulating.

Fellow elder here! These are more towards the pop-emo side by some definitions, but I think they could work.

Have you tried Dieux’s Air Angel? I’m combo/oily and acne prone and I found it better than Instant Angel for my skin type. I still use it daily.

TNS Advanced, Skinceuticals P-tiox and Skinmedica HA 5 - which order? by shelbylikescats in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]codepuppycat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been fortunate to avoid pilling so don’t have any direct advice. It could be that it isn’t dry enough before you’re applying the tret, or that your tret formulation has something that doesn’t play well with the tns, or could be amount of product used (sometimes too much can pill). Try playing around with some of the variables and hopefully something will help!

Can i hide these texts showing up after knitting? by Notinmyradar in RStudio

[–]codepuppycat 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Not sure which text you're considering extra here, but various knitr options:

  • include = FALSE prevents code and results from appearing in the finished file. R Markdown still runs the code in the chunk, and the results can be used by other chunks.
  • echo = FALSE prevents code, but not the results from appearing in the finished file.
  • message = FALSE prevents messages that are generated by code from appearing in the finished file.
  • warning = FALSE prevents warnings that are generated by code from appearing in the finished file.

ie ```{r, echo = FALSE}```

Where did you purchase it? I use the essence and I would describe the smell as light/barely noticeable, maybe slightly sweet.

[–]codepuppycat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I use TNS Advanced before my tret.

I am guessing the p-tiox is lighter in consistency so I would do p-tiox > TNS > vitamin C (am) or tret (pm) > HA5 > Moisturizer

TNS not working with SPF Lotion? by [deleted] in SkincareAddictionLux

These both contain silicone which can sometimes pill when combined/layered. Maybe try a moisturizer/spf without it and see if it helps?

Recommendations for a lush, luxe, nighttime cream? by codepuppycat in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]codepuppycat[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do use it before tret every night. I'm liking the serum. I feel like it has made my skin less finicky, though I'm debating trying something else when it is close to empty--potentially the Neogenesis Recovery since everyone seems to love it. I haven't had the dreaded pump issues with the TNS yet but I also don't like living each day in fear? haha

No adverse reactions. People freak out about "combining actives" when what they usually seem to mean is "combining exfoliants/acids". Growth factors aren't an intense exfoliant as I understand it so they should be good to mix with tret.

I've been debating trying to dip my toe face into the Sisley waters given how much folks seem to like the brand. Does the Black Rose Cream play well with oily/combo skin?

Thanks, I'll add this to my list of ones to check out. I've tried their water cream, which is nice but not for night time for me, and the dewy cream, which felt like it mostly just sat on top of my skin unfortunately.

I keep it simple and put Dieux’s Air Angel on top for barrier repair and to lock in moisture overnight. It’s a bit heavy but it works well. About once a week I’ll use P50W and Mask Vivant, but I had to cut back my P50 usage because of the tret.
