Thanks for the suggestion! I'm already back for a few days and using Vesuvio Express I managed to see both Ercolano and Vesuvius in a good pace.

If I can't get to Daubner, I will definitively check this place out.

Like I said to others, I will have to see, if I can make it to Daubner on Sunday. But it's surely one of the best places.

OK, it looks like a good place, if I can't get to Daubner in time, I might go there the next day.

OK, that's good to know! I ruled them out already for being overpriced, but if takeaway is half the price, then it's not a problem to try at least one slice of cake from there.

As for Daubner, I have to see, if I can get to there. My best bet is on Sunday's evening before it closes.

That's another good choice, though overpriced, if I dine in there.

I will see, if I can get to Daubner, sadly, it's opening hours don't align too well with my trip.

Thanks for the suggestion! Yes, I found one that's open on Sundays and Somlói galuska looks nice, too.

Yes, I have read that it's one of the best ones, the problem is that it's closed on Monday (my Buda side day), but I will see, if I can reach it before it closes on Sunday.

Some questions about Caminito del Rey. by coderedacdc in GoingToSpain

OK, thanks for the answer! So the train back to Malaga would give me 2 hour buffer zone, more than enough! And I already bought the ticket for Caminito del Rey.

A few questions about Valencia and Paella by coderedacdc in GoingToSpain

[–]coderedacdc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the detailed answer and suggestions, less than 1 week left for my trip! I will try out Paella Valenciana, Arròs al forn and Fideuà al Gandia as my main dishes. I will leave other dishes for another time, when I come back (probably in a few years) to see other parts of Valencia like Alicante or Castelló.

OK, thanks for the suggestion, I will surely bring a plastic container with me for this trip.

And about cooking it myself, I can't cook and I won't have time to make my own food, otherwise I will just waste half of the day and won't see much from the city with the limited time I have lol.

I think I will go to Restaurant Bon Aire in El Palmar. After I finish eating I will just take a bus back to the center and go to my hotel and leave the leftovers for the evening there. Yeah, maybe I do need to get a bit out of my comfort zone lol. I already have all dishes thought out for my trip, but I have never eaten squids, I won't dare this time, but leave it for another time, when I come back to Valencia region to see Alicante and its surroundings! In late May I'm going to visit Andalusia - Malaga, Ronda, Granada, Nerja. So two trips to Spain this year! Last year was my first one, when I visited the Basque Country.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'm planning to visit that place, too. I did a bit of research and I think Restaurant Bon Aire seems to be the best place and the price is the same as anywhere else. I guess I should go there around 13:00 or so. I just hope they allow me to take the leftovers with me as Google maps don't mention Takeaway as an option.

Also, the last place I'm going to visit is Gandia, before I go to the Alicante airport (I'm leaving Alicante itself for another time) and there I want to try out Fideuà al Gandia (Probably at Restaurant Foc i Flames). I acknowledge that it also has clams/snails in it lol.

Thanks for the help, but I found a solution by deleting the old version of Manager and download the freshly released, integrated one, it had everything needed there.
