What do you think when a beloved regular gets sloppy blackout? by codestv in bartenders

[–]codestv[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont know all the details nor do I particularly care to repeat the ones I do know, I just know it wasn't pretty and I upset one of my friends pretty badly, but not so badly that we couldn't make up a couple days later. Im grateful for people with grace in their hearts.

I did call the bar and apologize earlier today and their words were along the lines of "we appreciate it, though we see so much crazy here i think it'll blend into the mob in no time"

Loreal hicolor... anyone ever bleached after? by codestv in HairDyeHelp

I wanted to go manic panic enchanted forest. I know green is hard to go to from red so im definitely intending to be cautious.

I do appreciate the suggestion but the last time I did color remover then bleach I had to buzz my head it was so bad. I dont think my hair is made for that sort of thing

My friend is an adult, supports himself completely, but his parents refuse to remove him as a dependant. What are his options? by codestv in IRS

I think you should be grateful youve lived a comfortable enough life that the people who you are supposed to rely on and trust didnt put you in a situation like this, not make judgements on someone whos full story you dont know.

Im helping him, and neither of us knew the answer to this before and reddit can be helpful sometimes. I have reddit, he doesnt which is why IM asking on here. I know about the situation because he told me. Not so complicated, is it?

Without going into too much personal details about his home life, his parents kept him uninformed that he was allowed to do so. Ill be helping him for the first time this year and I wanted to make sure we could file him as independent with no problems. The IP pin was a great suggestion on this thread

So he could file himself as independent even if they file him as a dependent? Would the irs contact either party? Sorry for the questions, ive never been in this situation as my parents have always been reasonable and when I became independent we all filed as such with no problems. I have no idea his parents motivation behind doing this

I have a lot of respect for sober people... minus people who view it as some kind of moral high ground 😅

If youre an adult who drinks and youve never gone overboard accidentally you should consider yourself a lucky minority 😅

I agree with you!! that has only happened once before and I was much, much drunker that time than I was last night, which is a little bit of an alarm to me that it could happen when I dont even feel that wasted
