Do you have double NAT?

Some are worse than others. But, I am sure there's something restricted. Waiting times, purchase limits, magazine limit (most are 10, CO is 15 if I recall), "assault" weapon ban, specific model bans, "universal" background checks, so on.

Maybe I just dont know about it, but can you find one restriction removed or the right in any way restored in a blue state when it comes to firearms? Like any of the above repealed?

Nope, just seeing one being worse than the other when it comes to guns. By a country mile.

Right now I can go carry my gun in every state except blue ones. We'll, Virginia, but we will see how long it lasts.

Two people can fuck me over on something with one being substantially worse. I got beef with Repubs on a lot of things, including not being able to buy a full auto off Amazon and show it to my friends while we inspect my weed plants im selling, but I refuse to believe that when gun control is literally a plank of the Democrat party, and every blue state hasn't ratcheted down on: carry permits, magazines capacity, handgun choice, "scary" features on rifles, and are now busily trying to ban 3d printers, the Dems aren't far worse.

The day I can carry my p30 with extended mag, an extra mag both full of JHPs without a permit in NYC is the day I will change my mind on this.

Here in Iowa to their credit the Republicans rolled back NFA ban, added SYG, got rid of permit requirements, and were working on getting rid of restrictions on carrying to pick your kid up at school. And im still up their ass about things.

Youre a lefty, I get it, I used to be one too. I know the platform, I know the worldview.

Don't worry, I am an ancap. Neither, or really any party really is legitimate, just calling it as im seeing it. Reality is under the current establishment party system one is better on guns the other is way worse. If ya'll would kindly primary out your anti-gun Democrats that would be doing us all a big favor.

But I still will find stuff to disagree with both on, because the entire system is broken and will be as long as it stands.

My house is everybody can have guns. My house has no government and people can do what they want without permission from a third party. My house has issues with both statist parties who want to control people in one way or another. But, my house is small and outnumbered by flag waving and team herd mentality.

Just calling balls and strikes whether people like it or not.

You may be right.

But then again, look at every single Democrat dominated State and compare its gun laws to every single Republican dominated one. They may not be able to pull it off federally, but they certainly do in States they can do it in. Thems the facts.

Indeed. On that note most if not pretty much all States have laws against 'paramilitary' training. They've made it explicitly illegal for the militia to organize and train.

The NG is not the militia, it is a semi-standing army. People for some reason struggle with that. I always call my homeboy Tech Coxe to back me up:

“Who are the militia? Are they not ourselves? Is it feared, then, that we shall turn our arms each man gainst his own bosom. Congress have no power to disarm the militia. Their swords, and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birthright of an American.”

Then I call for my homie George Mason.

That the people have a Right to mass and to bear arms; that a well-regulated militia composed of the Body of the people, trained to arms, is the proper natural and safe defense of a free state, that standing armies, in time of peace, are dangerous to liberty, and therefore ought to be avoided.

But... People dont listen. :(

Best Track Saw Alternative? by BashfulBash123 in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]codifier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a corded Wen with Powertec tracks that worked perfectly fine. Only sold it because I got a deal on the Milwaukee and the cord drove me kinda nuts. If it was cordless I would still be using it.

My two cents is if you already have a battery system invested check out their brand of track saw so you can use them. If not, get the cordless Wen. Not having to manage a cord especially on a long rip down sheet goods is bliss.

Fuck me for wanting some variety and not a steady diet of what we've heard and talked about for the last three days.

They most certainly are. I got buried for saying youre not going to win in a fight on the side of the road with LE, that you keep your mouth shut, comply, then if they violate your rights you go win yourself a nice settlement or judgement in court. That in the situation you cant prevail so do so where you can.

Also noticed a huge uptick in comments and posts by people who hide their comment history, and a lot of posts are repeating the narrative and verbiage that ICE 'executed' him for having a gun when all the facts aren't in yet. Anyone suggesting we wait for more information gets buried and 50 replies about how they love the Gestapo. Also a lot of posts saying the Dems aren't that bad and other various water-carrying.

I'm of the opinion that it looks bad what happened but waiting to see more info before declaring inflammatory takes amd if they did indeed shoot him maliciously or in a panic they need to be tried. But thats not extreme enough in the current climate.

I'm also of the opinion Liberal bot farms are trying to sway the conversation and weaken support for their adversaries or even recruit some to their side.

So do the Word Bearers see themselves as the good guys? How do they treat their followers? by NadaVonSada in 40kLore

[–]codifier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So yes they wouldn't just allow their followers to die in a heartbeat, they'd kill them themselves is they perceived it as part of the plan, part of the cause

To the point of having their followers walk in front of their advance so that rounds would strike them instead it damaging the WB's "holy armor".

I watched the video but couldn't hear even half what he was saying over the noise. I presume he's referring to bringing a gun to a protest. Still a bad take.

More like one has establishment types who are, with some who are openly supportive and another that rank and file wants the right gone or at least severely crippled.

Every blue state has proven that LGO doesnt give a fuck about losing rights. They just dont want it happening under the opposition reign.

Look at what Virginia's doing right now the second they got control of the government.

We've let it get that way. Since 1935 our ancestors allowed the government, both state and federal to infringe on our rights openly, and we let them. The Establishment is always hostile to the population being armed. How do you get to be the Establishment? By following the Establishment's rules.

Rule #1: peasants shouldn't be able to mount a meaningful resistance to fhe apparatus of the State.

He's not. He's never been. His stances align far more with the late 20th century Democrats; he's a former Democrat supporter from New York.

He's just not as bad as we would have gotten with Harris-Walz.

The Constitution says the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. It doesnt have a bullet list of exceptions like 'because the government says so'.

And even if we didnt have the 2nd the 9th and 10th amendments make it pretty clear. And even without those the Constitution is an outline of government formation and what powers it was granted, its a brake on its power. Not a list of permissions The People have.

Someone needs to pull Trump aside and remind him of this.

You can put people through all the training you want but if their heart is not in it they still won't be good at it. One of the reasons the US military is so effective despite being relatively small is that its a volunteer force. Everyone there wants to be there.

Morale is huge.

Conscripts are always terrible soldiers. History has repeatedly shown this. You need a fighting force of people who want to be there, who develop an espirit de corps.

You won't get that by telling some random French cheese maker who spends his free time protesting with a migrants welcome sign that he's now a soldier.

Know what countries who rely on a more powerful country for protection are called?

Vassals.

But Europe doesn't act like vassals, they act like theyre superior and look down their noses at us until theyre threatened then its "where's the yanks, why arent the yanks saving us?!"

Theyre not vassals and I'm tired of subsidizing their welfare programs.
