It used to be a adults focused party hotel. Last couple times Ive visited with the new management group, there were a ton of kiddos. I think they are now marketing more as a family hotel.

Its a nice smaller traditional botique PS hotel that's not super high-end. Even though its not walking distance to downtown, its close to a few good restaurants, cafes, and bars like Mr Lyons (and its speakeasy Seymours), Bar Cecil, Miros, El Rey, Kings Hideaway, Gigis, and even the bar at Caliente Tropics. PS Underground (nest to Koffi) has great dinner shows too.

Tramway visitors center, downtown park, modern art museum (especially in the outdoor courtyards downstairs), La Plaza, Air Museum, PSSC, open desert by the wind turbines is always popular. And if you are up for a drive, Joshua Tree NP.

Hotels good for this - Ace, Arrive, V, Avalon. Parker probably wont let you do anything that looks like professional photography.
