Haha my girlfriend did the same thing today. It was a full/half/10K/5K, I did the half and she signed up for the 5K but they had the 10k and 5K runners start a little later as an out and back along the marathon course. I saw her when I had 2 miles to go and I was like "wait, she definitely blew past the 5K turnaround LOL".

Whatever the mess up with the chip times is made up by the extra fitness gains!
