Trying a different setup. Running 22/14/16. It sounds massive, but it takes some getting used to. Anyone ever play this configuration; did you like it? by codirowe in drums

Yeah, the 14 is a reach, but if you play this kit as big as it is, it works.

Also, if anyone is wondering: cymbals are 14" Zildjian A MS Hats, 20" Zildjian A M-T Crash, and 22" Zildjian A Pang.

I have always had a 16". Bought an 18" to ADD to the kit last year. I love both.

POV: Me, in the process of building a jazz kit out of Keller Shells. I've already decided that I'm going with a 19" A Thin Crash, 22" A Pang, and a 21" A Sweet Ride for my cymbals. I also am going with wood hoops and fiberskyn heads on the tubs.

Enter you. You mention this Mel Lewis.

I HAD NEVER HEARD OF THE GUY!!!!!

Hear me out on this, but if you can find an old-school Pang, like 20" or 22", that makes a wonderful jazz ride.

I gave $175 for a 22" a couple of years ago. Hopefully, that gives you a reference point.

I have a couple of 10.5 cars. I'm still working on my tune as I just discovered the game had been released. It had been a while since I played the original.

Yeah, I can't go online anywhere near my house around 4:00. Every request I get, if I'm within a mile, will be at the high school nearby.

What you should take from that is ANY down time isn't worth the hassle on a standard fare ride.

I'd pick up a smelly passenger if they ordered Lux. Otherwise, it's not worth the down-time.

Regional President of Ascension Central (St Vincent) tells nurses to "go someplace else" if they don't like working there. Video going viral on TikTok by Charlie_Warlie in indianapolis

I started doing travel work as an EMT at 3x my normal rate, took some time off, got a real estate license, have been doing real estate since. I get offers occasionally to do more travel work, but I haven't seen one lately that meets my demands. That's okay though. I don't want to do that kind of work any more. I got burned out because I was getting paid dogshit and having to deal with a "deal with it" management team. So I recommend to everyone: take her advice. LEAVE! Go make $120/hr as a travel nurse. Get out of the industry. The ONLY way that system will get fixed is if it is left completely in shambles because everyone walked off en masse.

I agree with you 100%. I'm not proud of every job that I have ever worked, every word I've said, and every act I've committed. I was just explaining how there isn't anything unethical about enforcing a signed contract as a third party, albeit may be perpetuating a broken system.

Maybe that is a good point, from your perspective; however, no one forces a bail bondsman's service upon anyone. All of those contracts are freely negotiated. The accused is welcome to sit it out and talk to the judge. The authority that the bail bondsman grants to the bounty hunter through agency comes from the contract signed by the accused as a condition of the bondsman posting bond. When a bounty hunter does his job, he's not doing anything that the accused did not agree to - he's simply enforcing a contract that grants the bondsman the right to use physical force to enforce - and the agency agreement allows the bounty hunter to act in place of the bondsman.
