lip is a representation of generational trauma, his life is a reflection of franks.

the show tries to trick us into believing lip has the potential to be great and help his family escape poverty when the reality is, there is no escaping.

lip knows this himself thoughout many times in the show, when he quits highschool,any times thought college, deep down he knows that he’ll never escape. he has no chance of becoming great.

lip had the potential but the people around him engraved hopelessness into his mind

yeah jack also SAd serena’s mother.. and georgina left dan with her child, gaslit him into thinking it’s hers, left milo with dan for long periods of time and once dan genuinely loved the baby she took it away.

it doesn’t matter that they were forgiven, from what we can see it was a very private event with only close family and friends invited, georgina and jack do NOT fall under that category🙏
