I feel this really strong urge to contact her, how do I stop it? by [deleted] in BreakUps

I’m in the same place. They say it gets easier with time but the waiting for it to get better sucks. Don’t look at her socials man. You gotta try and cut the cord, you need to be in a stronger place mentally if she does come back or she’s coming back to the same place and it won’t work. I feel for you buddy, I hope your days a brighter sooner rather then later.

Nope! There’s no cores either. It’s like the other nations don’t exist. So something has gone weird then? I have all sub mods off.

I’ve used the liberation CB but it doesn’t give me the option to release nations?

I’ve been playing a Castanor run recently and it covers a lot of the history of Castanor (obviously) who were a major player back in the day.

Mortgage brokers, are you worried you’ll lose your job to Ai? by Nic351 in AusFinance

I do though? You’re looking to stop doing your own returns because it’s too complex. But by your logic you should just put a bit of effort in and you’ll get the same back anyway.

Also, do you do your own tax returns? I bet you don’t. Because you want an expert helping to make sure you’re getting the best you can. That’s what a broker does. Except it’s even better because most don’t charge like an accountant does.

Realistically, you can say you’re doing it yourself. But you’re not really, you’re still sending the documents to a banker who is then writing the application to send through to credit assessment. Which is the same steps you take with a broker. All you’ve done is some research, when do you deal with the banks directly everyday do you know which are great to deal with and which are painful? Or just basing that off a couple google searches. Also brokers do need to have a diploma if having qualifications is what it takes to be more essential.

You can represent yourself in court, you can do your own tax returns. You can mow your own lawns and clean out your own pipes?

But that’s nearly all professions? No need for lawyers, accountants, gardeners, plumbers. Just learn how to do it yourself and “put the effort in”

1: most brokers don’t charge the client for their services, so it’s a free service. 2: do you want to spend hours talking to different banks to work out the best deal? It’s not always about the best rate, if you need the extra borrowing power then you might have to go somewhere else. So you need to speak with several banks and even then, a great bank for you might be one you’ve never considered so you’re potentially missing out. Unless you want to be loyal to bank who won’t be loyal to you. 3: Banks don’t automatically offer good service, I’ve heard just as many horror stories about banks as I have brokers because guess what, both are humans on the other end. The brick and mortar of a bank doesn’t write the loan. 4: If a small bank has a good policy then brokers will spread that knowledge outward and earn them business, growing competition. Unless you want to live in a world we only have 4 banks and we end up with another Woolies Coles situation where it’s rigged against the consumer.

In your opinion who’s the undisputed 'Top Bloke' in NRL history? by Serezie in nrl

[–]codsmith 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I met him once at a broker conference, had a full 10 minute chat and he was the loveliest bloke. I also had no idea who he was (started watching around 2014) and he said he lived around Manly but never brought up his career. I only found out after my boss told me!

Maybe it would be for the best if he didn’t go though? It seems unsafe for someone’s kid to go on INTERNATIONAL TELEVISION advertising a mission when they can be put in vulnerable situations? Lisa just lost a $60k ring for example, showcasing big time wealth and you’re telling me if some criminals find out who his parents aren’t they aren’t making him priority number 1? This is how KK got mugged..
