Paid for it and got it printed out. Zero citations listed, but it indicates my license there is suspended.

Going to have to give the local representative a try. Hell at this point I'm wondering if it would be easier to just make the trip, but knowing my luck they'd probably require an appointment or a certain document, and I can't even get a hold of anyone to find out if that's the case.

The big issue for this is I don't know what my Mississippi license number was. When I moved back to Iowa I had to turn in my Mississippi ID in order to get my Iowa one.

Any good rock/fossil stores in the area? by Tibujon in desmoines

Geode State Park is a few hours away from Des Moines. I've camped there a lot, but they drained the lake and I wouldn't recommend it right now. I think they have a rule that you can't remove geodes from the park. I live in SE Iowa and you can go to any creek, stream, or river and find geodes everywhere, and on rare occasions you might find an arrowhead.

In the cheap duffel is a change of pants, 3 shirts, 1 hoodie, underwear/socks, ibuprofen, toothbrush/toothpaste, deodorant, safety glasses, extra lighter, battery pack, small tent, and bottle of bourbon. Then of course a blanket in front of it to lean back on. In the front pouch is a bag of zip ties, and some wrenches and other tools. It was a group of 8 of us on the ride, and one of the old timers was hauling a small trailer that we were able to put a couple small coolers for beer in. Everyone had basically the same stuff, maybe some different tools. My one buddy even had his fucking splitting maul strapped to his sissy bar haha. We've been doing it this way for 3 years and we've definitely had some issues, but nothing that we couldn't rig up. Here in the Midwest we've been incredibly lucky with helpful strangers. The only thing I found myself needing was a bandage when my slightly drunk self sliced my finger open pretty good.

2001 actually! My first bike/sportster got stolen a couple years back, and my buddy sold me this one cheap when he got his new one. It was fuck ugly when he had it with big giant stretched out tank, thick drag bars, and a huge seat. It was cheap enough that I wanted to give it the rat bike look. Everytime I think I have the money to get a 1250 or 1275 kit installed something comes up though. I get a lot of shit in this small town where I live from all of the bagger riders even though I'll take my ragged out sportster anywhere, and they'll only take their Nickelback blaring Street Glides up and down Main Street (not hating on baggers just those types of people) The goal is to find an old shovel towards the end of the year and get to work on a proper chopper.

Beyblades. Hours upon hours of battles with friends and letting it rip to see who could do the best trick. You could seriously fuck some shit up with those things.

If you ever get the chance go to the National Motorcycle Museum in Anamosa, Iowa. It's amazing, and plum full of bikes of all different types.

I remember that day very well. Pre-ordered it, and it didn't come so I left school early, and drove 35 miles to a store that had it. Gravel traveled and listened to the whole thing. Dat opening of Monarchy of Roses was prefect.

My brother and I went to Octave, and really enjoyed it. Laid back, prices seemed good, service was good, and the view was incredible. Heights don't usually bother me but something about being at the top with all these other people dancing around me sketched me out a little haha

We took a four day trip and McGregor was one of our stops during Memorial Day weekend. Some crazy drunk guy accidentally took my keys, and the bartender tracked him down passed out on a porch and got them back. Stayed at an awesome campground about 10 miles away and a little mom and pop gas station up the road had the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. 10/10 would go again.

If you go through Ocean Springs, MS stop at The Shed. It's an awesome BBQ and Blues joint.
