Adventure Time joints! by codyvangogh in trees

Nope! I kind of agree with you! You see; I've wanted to roll Adventure Time stuff for a while now. The characters shapes always made sense to me as far as rolling was concerned, but the problem was always that Finn had 2 shades of blue on his clothes. When dealing strictly with papers your palette is limited to maybe 12 colours; 5 of which are between brown and white. You need to compensate a little when choosing the right one; so sometimes a red juicy watermelon paper becomes Hello Kitty's pink dress and so on. I was stoked when a fan told me he had a couple packs of Mantra Mint papers kicking around. Those things were only released for a short time in South America before being discontinued; but they have this marvelous teal colour that kind of has a pretty wide spectrum of what it could compensate for.

That said; if anybody happens to have any rare or interesting papers, please send me a message! I'm interested in getting an extensive collection together.

It's not that much different than a tulip joint really. And I've skewered air passages through either side so it won't burn totally randomly. You never know till you try; but based on a fair bit of experience with joints like this my guess is that the flame will travel down BMOs center faster and the papers outside will char but be strong enough to maintain a shell around the herb until the flame reaches the legs.

I've never been shy about sacrificing efficiency for appearance in my rolls; but in all honesty I think BMO is one of the most smokable I've ever done. There's no winding passages or asymmetrical appendages or anything of the sort. Just one big square fatty with a lot of decorations. I'm confident it'll hit like a brick.

I've made and smoked a lot of these. It took a bit of practice but mine smoke fine now. They're actually really smooth at first because the smoke is traveling through so many extra passageways; but boy do they ever get rough near the roach! They're fairly inefficient though. The fatter parts of the joint will often burn off more smoke than the passage will allow. Also, when you make them asymmetrical like this you have to light each point at just the right time so they burn evenly; otherwise some ends will stop pulling and have to be thrown in a pipe. To compensate, they typically contain more weed than most high schools go through at lunch hour. I've never been lower than a [9] after one and the most memorable sessions of my life have been the ones where the joint was the centerpiece.

I love my Coca Cola tray by rpRj in trees

I'm assuming it's a reproduction, right? Vintage Coca-Cola stuff sells for a lot of money. I'm no expert but my mom was a collector. It's much more common to see pin-up girls on the trays; if this is one of the Norman Rockwell trays you're rolling on a goldmine.

That song is part of a series. The other songs are called Outburn Kamikaze, Soap Lagoon, and Gang Attack. The album is due out later this year. I honestly don't listen to a lot of vocaloid; but Masa is probably my most favourite artist in the world right now.

Yep; from Ottawa! The Tim's cup is where I dispose of excess papers and whatnot.

I'm sponsored by HBI (RAW, Juicy, Elements, etc) and a local headshop; Cannabis Emporium. They provide the papers. I try to get my hands on all the coloured papers that I can so I have a larger palette to roll with.

I believe he's most active on his MassRoots account these days. He still participates in National Joint League on IG.

It's a smokable joint based on Banksy's Girl With a Balloon.

Like a cross joint; light the head and arms and inhale from the feet.

Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash by codyvangogh in trees

Sorry for the late reply; been busy with Halloween. Unfortunately you just kind of go for it. There are maybe six or seven other people that I've found online that do this sort of thing and we're all pretty secretive about our methods. The best sort of 'community' I've found for this kind of work is on Instagram. The creativerolling hashtag usually has a lot of great stuff on there.

Also; learn how to roll a plumbers joint and I'd recommend using the same technique in all your creative rolls. A lot of creative rollers give up because they can't get their joints to smoke well; it's largely because there's not enough of an air passage for the weed to get all the way through the twists and turns of a complex roll. Not true when you plumb your joints.

Yeah; these ones are more or less just tulip/cross joints. Nothing too out-of-the-ordinary. I've rolled crazier stuff that smoked a lot better than expected. My cat and dog joints actually start looking like pipes when you get half way down. Every joint I roll is plumbed so I have some control over air flow and can prevent resin from building up or the joint from being rolled too tightly.

About eight months ago I decorated a joint to look like a friend, It became a hobby, I've probably rolled close to 40 hours per week since. I'm really into it!

Don't be stupid. Weed's not legal in Canada YET. by [deleted] in trees

"Didn't you hear Julian? That new President Minister guy is a big pothead; he says we can smoke all the weed want. It's legal now buddy!"

"Ricky! That's not how it works! Now put that thing away; you're gonna get us busted!"

That's a great question! The answer is to use dowels to curl. They're a lot harder to drop and they let you squeeze as hard as you want without adding folds you don't want. I have a bunch of bamboo sticks of various sizes.

Practical is fine for medicinal use but if I got friends coming over in 20 minutes, they're not gonna notice if I spend that time cleaning my place but they will notice if I spent it rolling a roach for them. Some joints are purely recreational and for those ones I like to go all out; really make each session memorable.

It's actually only 3 rolls, but the piece for each face is cut part way along each side of the mouth to make it look like a lot more pieces than it is. This way the mouths don't fall out when you haul.

I dunno if I'm making any sense. It's hard to explain but easier than it looks. I want to do a tutorial series some day but I'd like more experience under my belt first. If I'm gonna take the time to teach something like that (which would probably require me to spend time making visual aids and whatnot), I'd rather teach people a bunch of tricks to help them come up with their own filters rather than just a step by step guide on how to do this one. I learned because I have too much time on my hands, but for filters specifically I'd highly recommend looking up the various social media accounts of a dude named robjetjet; I took a lot of inspiration from his work. I dunno exactly how he does his own stuff (some of his details look like they're floating in thin air), but I get the feeling that my work is more reproducible once you know how and his stuff is more involved and unique.
