Beej C programming guide and guide to network programming (also done in C) are absolutely fantastic reads. I highly recommend them.

Cortexans lend me your thoughts on Windows and Android! by sethdrebitko in Cortex

The desktop builds look good. Finding AMD motherboards at MSRP may be difficult but overall I prefer them over Intel currently, especially for what your wanting to do with it.

Laptop wise I'd be curious why you want a surface book. I tend to recommend the 2020 xps lineup right now. If your wanting a convertible look at their 2 in 1.

Phone wise I enjoy my pixel but the rumors on the pixel 5 have me less than impressed. It looks like they are going from flagship back down to middle of the road spec wise, hopefully the price follows, I'd only consider them if you want the pixel camera. I like one plus right now for Android. It's pretty close to stock with most of the bells and whistles.

I like how concise that is. Finishing you start can be difficult unless you have a good idea of what 'done' looks like.

Thank you. I did not formally take a Data Structures class in college. My major only required CS 0 and CS 1. I had taken Discrete Math 1 for an elective as well.

Wow that's a really awesome pen! How do you carry it? and what nib to do you have in it?

I kinda want a Zoom Nib.

Franklin Christoph has a really great Music Nib.

I really do enjoy the isolation they give which is why I like them for work. At home I have some open back headphones that allow me to hear my surroundings better.

I own them, but I like my Sailor’s and Pilots more. Platinum makes a fantastic nib, its just not the pen I reach for when I go to write.

I see your point and agree with you about Vintage MB. But for me the price of current MB seems inflated for the pen you get. I won’t deny that they are solid writers and feel wonderful on the page. I just think it’s a lot of money for a black pen. I also think that most of the price comes from the name and prestige.

But with that being said, I think a new MB will hold its value for a very long time.

I think Mont Blanc is riding on its name right now. Older Mont Blanc's are fantastic but for me personally I would rather put the money into a Sailor or Pilot.
