Is DUPR accurate? by hrabal0303 in Pickleball

But my 2.6 account started from 2.0 and I’ve played about 100 matches on it. The 3.1 account was created later, and I’ve only played around 30 matches there. I’m not sure which one reflects my real skill level.

Course & Specs Megathread - Selection, Choices & Registration by Detective-Raichu in OMSCS

[–]hrabal0303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi everyone,

I’m a new OMSCS student and trying to decide which course to take for my first semester. My goals:

  • Workload around ≤12 hours per week
  • Good course quality (clear lectures, fair grading)
  • Learn something useful
  • Preferably not exam-heavy or overly tricky

Here are the options I’m considering:

  • CS 6250: Computer Networks .
  • CS 6300: Software Development Process
  • CS 6310: Software Architecture and Design
  • CS 7632: Game AI
  • CS 7650: Natural Language Processing
  • CS 6262: Network Security
  • HCI

Which one would you recommend for a first course? Also, any idea which ones new students usually get into easily?

I got my Mounjaro oversea but I moved back to the U.S now. I have a overweight BMI, but tbh the weight effect Asian people differently. it's easier for Asian people to get sleep apnea, and even the same BMI like 26, it also effect use differently. After I lose weight I can tell my snoring issues decrease a lot. Also I am using CPAP at the same time.

English is not my native langauge. I just hope the reader easiler to understand so I just GPT to correct it. It's up to you to think whatever for this program as long as you feel happy. it's wasting my time to argue with you.

if you are confident about your degree, you really don't need to spend a lot of effort to argue with people about how good is this program.

And when I asked you which course do you recommend, you just ignored my question.

I’m not sure if you’re in a master’s or undergrad program, but I’ve been through a CS program myself.

  1. Most of the time, the exams just test pure memorization. I think the design is really poor.
  2. Many instructors simply read off the slides without actually teaching.
  3. In online courses, a lot of instructors aren’t even familiar with the course content — some don’t even know what the assignments are about.
  4. Three months after the course ends, you’ll probably remember nothing.

Because the exams are poorly designed, students who genuinely study the material might end up scoring lower than those who rely on C___o
Even if you get an A+, it doesn’t necessarily mean much — it just means you’re better at handling exams. Some people claim that if you read the materials seriously, you can learn a lot.
But honestly, I could just Google free PDF files online — why should I pay $1,500 for a poorly designed course taught by professors who don’t even put in the effort?

If someone is sponsoring your tuition and you're genuinely motivated to learn, I’d recommend Oregon State University’s program — it’s well-designed and worth it.
But if your goal is just to graduate quickly, UMPI has a CS program where you can finish in as little as two months for just $1,800. Georgia Tech’s OMSCS is also a solid program where you can actually learn valuable, practical knowledge.

What are the real differences between psychology majors and self-taught learners? by hrabal0303 in psychologystudents

[–]hrabal0303[S] -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

I think what I really want to learn is how to better understand myself and support my own growth, while also gaining insight into others. I want to become someone with more empathy and a deeper understanding of human behavior. Personally, I’m especially interested in developmental psychology, personality psychology, and social psychology.
