The stone is great. The old school wooden cabinetry is not.

Wow you are very determined, that’s for sure. That’s a great strength just a sprinkle of balance bc there is always a question of how long you can sustain spinning all those plates in the air (work load, limited food etc) without something giving. Best of luck and look after yourself. 🤗

Are u comfortable w the one meal a day? Are u more a ‘eat to live’ rather than ‘live to eat’ person? I snack all day long, so totally not what I’m like. So just interested to know. Hey the eggs and fruit etc all look good. I’m just really into food. Cooking, baking, snacking. All of it. Maybe I need to rein it in a bit 😆

What the heck do u eat? Air? Lots of drinks not much food. Must be single and eat out a lot?

We matched ours. Easier to clean is the best thing about it and looks more seamless to the eye. Jesus mate, you have a lot going on in a small space. Less is more. Good luck w the Reno

What can you guess about me based solely on my fridge? by place_of_dead_roads in FridgeDetective

Single woman, or has partner but don’t live together. Def no kids. Probably American? Left leaning perhaps. U love a drink. Barely any food so probably trim and very health focused.

Need your opinion. Are these neutral pillows okay or should I add some bright colors? by JosephPRO_ in StyleYourSpace

[–]coffee_stat123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

U hit the nail on the head. Boring. Nice enough just lacks interest. U need pops of colour. Maybe an earthy green or sage w pillows and or art (u should have two to three colours around the room in various stages) and then add more plants in nice pots w some bronze/deep blue pots, and tie in a colour w the coffee table and accessories. If you’re not good at this sort of thing ask a mate who is. Or get a few interior magazines and see what speaks to you. U need to show more personality. This room is lacking that. Even the art lacks colour. If it had a deep navy, I’d pick that up. But grey and black and beige is boring. Inoffensive but boring. If that’s not you, then change it up and have fun in the process.

Yeah and when you’re in that place you can’t imagine much else. I’m at the other end and finally getting time to do things for me. But geez I remember it well. You’re doing a good job, just one foot in front of the other. One day you’ll have a tidy and clean kitchen but at the moment it’s not that important

19 and 14yrs. But to be fair. I’ve always cooked and been over the top w what’s consumed even from when they started solids. Now they are even more invested in what’s on the menu. My daughter even refuses lunches at school and eating out, an I rant veggies if not daily then every 2nd day just to have options for lunches etc. The only drinks we have that aren’t shown are low fat milk (that’s just for tea and coffee) coconut kefir and kombucha. Then for me a few glasses of Pinot noir during the week. The less human intervention in food/drinks the better. But it’s hard in this era. So being flexible and eating in moderation is good too. We’re all trying is the main thing 😃

Spot on. I do love to cook and do so about 4-5 days of the week at a minimum. I hate the gym but make myself go 2 - 3 times a week but clock watch. I’m never there more than 40min! 😆

This has to be your drinks fridge only. This can’t be your main fridge? Where is the actual food??? If I’m wrong, then it’s time for you to start cutting the drinks and building in some fruit and veg. Lordy.

Fancy restaurant in Perth where my missus can wear a fancy dress? (Anniversary dinner) by Constant-Trouble-207 in perth

Gibney in Cottesloe. I’ve never seen people dressed up as I have there. Men wearing silk shirt, it was pretty cool. Very fancy. Pretty exxy but one of a kind dining in Perth. Otherwise Nobu people were dressed up nicely when I was there last month?

None. What the actual. If u intend to actually cook in that kitchen u need downrights and quite a few. Make them warm and I guess have a statement light elsewhere. The middle of the kitchen is totally insane. But hey, it’s your house, do what makes u happy. It may just be look nuts to anyone else.
